Tryst Café Website Rhetorical uses To begin with, the uses a less formal tone in the wording of the text in thewebpage. This can for instance be seen in the “about” where the author says that “our silverware doesn’t always match” and that they do not o=have over 75 different favors of frappachinno. What the author is trying to achieve is to indicate that Tryst is not he ordinary generic café but a special place where people can become who they want to be. Rhetoric use is also seen in the about page where the author compares Tryst to the Greek tavernas and the French Cafes. Rhetoric is also used to communicate about the services of the firm, especially special offer. For instance, there is an advertisement about a beer tap takeover. This advertisement says that “we want you to drink more beer” (Tryst Cafe and Pub). This has two main reasons for use. First, it makes the place look like one place that a customer can have all the fun they intend to have. This goes well with the culture of the area where Tryst is located. This is because Americans are known to be people who like having fun in a great way, without limitation. It also creates the impression that when one goes to spend some good time at Tryst, they will not have to worry about spending too much, they will be able to do s without hurting their pockets and wallets. Word choice Word choice has also been utilized to communicate the massage about the brand. The authors of the site try to portray Tryst as a place where anybody who love to have a good time should go. The text also identifies that Tryst is a place that one can get what they want because the products that they serve are not generic but are crafted to meet the needs of each customer. As a result, the author argues that when one goes to Tryst, they are able to express their personality by getting a product that best suits their tastes. Informal language is used in order to meet conform with the fact that Tryst is an informal pace. This is not a legal firm, it is an informal place where people go to lose themselves as they indulge in various fun activities. Because of this, the author then tries to make sure that the language that is used in the website is an informal one so that it goes along with the theme of the business. Color theme chosen With regard to the color chosen, there are a number of factors that may have informed the choice of color. To begin with, there is the problem of having to conform to the colors of the business. Every business uses color as a branding tool. For Tryst, it has its own unique colors that define it. In this regard, it is also crucial for the website to be able to reflect the same colors. This is something that is always used by all businesses. The Tryst website applies the business colors as the main background colors. However, there are colors in the website that are not necessarily part of the business colors. These colors have been chosen carefully to look at two main issues. First, vibrant primary colors have been used in order to attract the website visitors and to make them to want to explore the website. The vibrant colors are also meant to be able to go along with the informal nature of Tryst. This goes well with the strategy of the business. Why is the theme use don website and not TV Various graphics have been used in the website. These graphics can be seen in all the pages including the home pages. The graphics can be categorised into two categories. The first category is the camera photographs. These have been deployed in order to create a realist view of the firm. They have for instance been used mainly for the menu pages so that any visitor who visits the website can see for himself what the firm offers, even if they have never been to Tryst. The other category of graphics in the websites includes computer-generate graphics. These graphics are generated using graphics software such as Photoshop. The graphics give the website an informal feel to go along with the informal nature of the firm. To further give the website an even more informal feel, special graphics have been sed. For instance, with regard to the social media icons that have been placed on the website, they have been specially made unlike using the generic social media icons that are used in almost any other website. This use of creativity achieves two things. To begin with, it helps to create the impression that Tryst is a special case and bar. Secondly it helps to make the website to look different and to look like it is not just another website but a price of art. Again, this goes well with the theme of the business. Another thing that can be noted with regard to the website is the choice of font type used. The font type is also informal, especially the font type for the menu items (navigation panel). The kind of fonts used is the kinds that may not be used for a formal business such as a law firm of a consultancy firm. All these use of informal tone in the website can be attributed to the fact that the website has to appeal tithe right people and ahs to be a representation of what the business that owns it does. This is intended to make sure that the theme of the business is not lost when the brand is taken online. Conclusion Overall, looking at the site indicates that the site has been designed to create and informal feel in order to match with the theme and the brand of the business. The authors realize that communication is more than just use of words but goes beyond to encompass color, rhetoric and other facts such as graphics. Work Cited Tryst Cafe and Pub.
