In this paper, we will discuss why people wait until middle adult years to have children. More over, we will also discuss problems associated with pregnancy during middle adult years. Most of the people wait until middle adult years to have their children mainly because of increased cost of life. The cost of life has increased so much that people find it difficult to take on parental responsibilities in early adulthood.

Today, people want to establish themselves properly before taking on the responsibility of children. Married couples usually have to face many challenges in the initial years of marriage, such as, finding a good source of income, finding proper residence, and understanding each other. Both husband and wife need to give proper attention to these challenges in order to overcome the issues associated with these challenges.
