The Most Significant Political Development It is of crucial significance to that the political developments in every state contribute significantly towards defining the position of that state or government in the international scope. It is quite imperative to acknowledge the fact that political developments may shape the government or state in various ways. In relation to this, it is in order to state that the nature of change that a government or state experiences in accordance to the political developments majorly depends on the nature of such political development (Williams, 41). A negative political development will automatically result to negative things experienced in such a country. Such negative things may also have severe influences on the countries neighboring the nation affected. Moreover, such consequences may contribute massively in affecting the international community in several perspectives (Rosati and James, 35). However, it is prudent to note that a positive political development is associated with positive results to each and every country that experiences such positive developments. This brings notable improvements in the sectors of such countries, economic stability, political stability as well as international prestige (Williams, 52). In this regard, it is quite imperative to understand that the political developments can be categorized into two major groups. This is in relation to the nature of consequences associated with each form of development. A political development can be termed positive or negative. However, it is of crucial significance to note that currently, the world is experiencing several negative political developments. These are the political developments majorly characterized by increased incidences of wars, insecurity as well as violence. These wars have had several major impacts in the economy and political statuses of the countries involved as well as the international community in general. It is of crucial significance to note that in the world today, every country has been fighting to maintain politically relevance in the international scope (Rees, 25). In order to achieve this, there is need to ensure robust growth in key sectors including the developmental sectors, economic sector as well as stabilize the political sector (Williams, 67). However, it is extremely saddening to understand that most criminal activities always target such sectors in order to destabilize such nations as well as the international community. This has been experienced in the country of Syria. The political status in Syria has been considered one of the greatest political developments in the world currently following the impacts that these conflicts have to Syria as well as the international community (Rosati and James, 48). The issue of civil wars has ailed the international states for quite a very long time. The civil wars emanate from several causes. Some of these causes are preventable. However, a number of the sources f such civil wars are indefinite. This follows that the major forces behind such causes of the civil wars may be unable to clearly define what their interests are. Instead, they conduct such criminal activities with the aim of getting international. Several criminal groupings have ailed most governments in the world for instance Al Qaeda and Taliban (Williams, 73). Some of these criminal groupings are massively characterized with several incidences of terrorism activities. Such terrorism activities have always been responsible for derailing the economy of several states that have fallen victims to such terrorism actions. In addition, the terrorism activities from such criminal groupings around the world have massively affected the world economies. This has been in relation to the country that has fallen victims of such terrorism acts. The results of such terrorism activities may lead to a sudden drop in economy of a nation. This may greatly affect several sectors of such a nation, including the developmental sector, economic, political as well as the social sector (Rees, 37). A good example of such countries where terrorism activities have always been rampant include the West Africa countries. In these countries, the terrorism activities have led to sudden drops in the economy of such countries. The counts have been characterized by increased incidences of civil wars. These have massively concentrated on the quest for the natural resources by the other powerful nations. This has impeded the improvements in the health sectors, developmental sectors, economic as well as social sectors in such countries. In addition, the issue of civil wars has been responsible for massive deaths of individuals. Several people have died following the rampant incidences of terrorism, violence as well as criminal acts that are associated with such civil wars. In addition, the economies of such countries have been faced with dwindling trends that result from the increased incidences of insecurity (Williams, 84). However, it is of critical significance to highlight the role taken by the issue of civil wars in the country of Syria. The civil wars in Syria have taken the world with a storm. The nature, frequency and magnitude of such civil wars experienced in Syria have been so impactious to the economy of this nation, the sectors as well as the political situation of the country. The effects of these civil wars experienced in the country of Syria have had extended influence even to the world major powers including the United States, China as well as Russia. This has led to the debate or the question of the most significant development in the world today (Rees, 57). In this regard, it is of crucial significance to note that the major political development in the international affairs arena currently is the civil war experienced in Syria (Spear and Paul, 53). This war has had great likelihood that it can spread even to the other nations, thereby affecting them in extremely negative ways. The terrorism activities in Syria have been a major factor of concern in the international scope today. This war has the capability of affecting the global economy in several ways (Rosati and James, 45). This follows the likelihood that the war is silently spear headed by the world major terror groups. This war has led to deaths of several individuals in Syria thereby leading to several negative impacts on the developmental sectors in the country. In this manner, there is a greater possibility that the civil wars in Syria can spread thereby affecting several regions around the world. This is the fear that mot nations have always been focusing on. This follows that majority of nations have massively invested in the country. Therefore, the increased incidences of such conflicts may greatly lead to severe consequences to those investments (Spear and Paul, 63). In addition, the foreign relations may also be greatly influenced by the impacts of such conflicts experienced in Syria. This has made the global governments have difficulty in figuring out the best strategies to employ so that the conflicts experienced in Syria can be made to stop. These conflicts have been massively characterized by escalating incidences of bloodsheds, destruction of properties as well as moral degradation. The international community has been taken aback in responding effectively to the incidences of wars experienced in Syria. The Syrian civil war is perceived as the most significant political development in the world currently since the effects of these conflicts have had massive impacts in the global communities. It is critical to note that the effects of these conflicts have been slowly finding their roots in the economy of different countries, states as well as nations globally. The effects of Syrian conflicts have been a major concern in the international community since it has massively affected the economies of the European countries (Rees, 51). This has been evident in a time when the European nations are battling with the issue of strengthening their economies, create jobs and employment opportunities as well as stabilize the euro. In the same measure, these civil wars experienced in Syria have even had influences in the United States of America. The Syrian wars have greatly involves the use of heavy and sophisticated weapons. Some of these include the nuclear weapons that have greatly devastated efforts by international communities willing to cheap in to sole the conflicts including the United States of America. It is of critical significance to note that the civil wars experienced in Syria have posed major threats to the United States of America’s foreign policy. This follows the fact that these civil wars experienced in Syria have been massively characterized with increased use of the nuclear weapons. In addition, the Syrian civil wars have been widely characterized by the massive use of chemical weapons. These have led to death of large numbers of innocent civilians in the country (Spear and Paul, 59). The effects of these civil wars have posed major challenges to the United States. This follows that all the peaceful ways that the United States have tried to employ in solving as well as brining to an end these conflicts have not been successful. The United States of America is a state that believes in the role of peace in solving conflicts. Therefore, in this regard, the United States of America decided to resort to dialogue as a ways to solve these conflicts experienced in Syria (Rosati and James, 41). However, the efforts to sole these wars have not been successful. The wars in Syria have also incorporated massive use of chemical weapons that have led to the deaths of a large number of individuals. This has massively affected the foreign policy of the United States of America. It is in order to note that the foreign policy of the United States is always based on peace to the uttermost end. In this perspective, the United States always champion the use of peace in solving any international dispute, was as well as conflicts. However, in situations where the use of peace is unsuccessful, the United State always employ other means (Spear and Paul, 71). The civil wars experienced in Syria, being a threat to the United States foreign policy, may likely lead to a change in the United States foreign policy in several ways. These threats can make the United States resort to other means that function in a slightly different manner to sole he conflicts. For instance, the fact that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons in the civil conflicts is likely to make the United States to employ the use of military force in solving these conflicts (Rosati and James, 53). This is critical in ensuring that the consequences of such wars are contained within manageable limits and do not overlap to affect other countries in the international community. This is crucial in ensuring that the issues of global terrorism are minimized, economies strengthened, peace and unity strengthened in the international scope. Works Cited Rees, John A.
